So, you will have you tummy filled with all the yummy dishes your mother will prepare and you are ready to spend the evening with your parents, probably sitting on the couch after the dinner. 

Maybe you should go there prepared; just a bit of exercise, something quickly you can even do it in the bathroom as you get prepared.

  • Wall push ups. Depending on your preparation you can start doing push ups on the wall. Seems strange? well, 85% of the people cannot stand a whole push up on the ground but can finish a set doing it on the wall. What you have to do is just stand in front of a vertical wall with your arms extended, hands on the wall and feet slightly apart. Move toward the wall flexing your arms and going back to full extend. Do it 10 times and rest for 30-45 seconds before do it again.
  • Lunges. Stand up with enough room in front of you; make a step in front of you and then lower your body over the leg. You can aid yourself with your hands over the leg to pull you back up and get back to the standing position. Now switch legs and do it with the other one. Do a 16 times set (8 for any legs) and then rest for 30-45 seconds. You can hold some weight in your hands as you get down to make more effort.
  • Take a walk. It's this an exercise? sure it is, and you can even do it after the big meal, as suggested on this site. So you will consume your calories and get a little more hungrier for later snack.
